The Audacity of Love

Synopsis

'We fear pain as if it were contagious'. It is the courage and audacity of love that in the late 1960s drove a group of students from the Liceo Virgilio of Rome to come together to take action in favor of the marginalized. The Audacity of Love tells the history of the Community of Sant'Egidio: from its growing commitment to the poor to the deep bond with Pope John Paul II, to its international presence in peace-keeping activities and in the fight against AIDS in Africa.
