Romero, voice of the voiceless

Accused of Marxism, elected icon of liberation theology, a candidate for beatification, Msgr. Oscar Arnulfo Romero remains one of the most controversial figures of the end of the last century, continuing to generate admiration and embarrassment. For the first time, all of his interviews, photos, and sermons have been collected in a film to tell in his voice the tragedy of poverty and the violence of a bloody military dictatorship which on 24 March, 1980 made him pay with his life when he was murdered while celebrating mass.
